Hot. That’s the word to describe the weather, the dogs and the people at Dogs Day Out In The Park event on Sunday 28 June.

Two things I need to say. Firstly, when the weather was starting to heat up in the late morning, we suddenly had quite a few visitors to our booth who were just standing around. Apparently, our booth was probably the coolest booth due to the mix of orientation, wind direction and direction of exposed sides in relation to the sea breeze. And people were coming to stand around under our booth for some respite from the heat. If only we could sell beer there.

Secondly, quite a few people thought that Pets Magazine was the organiser of this event. Not sure why they had that idea. Maybe it’s because the real organiser didn’t mention themselves much, or maybe people enjoyed the event and naturally thought it fitting to presume Pets Magazine organised it. Pardon my shot at self-flattery, but I don’t get the chance often. Anyway, the event was organised by Senses Marketing Communications & Design Pte Ltd, which is an event organising company.

Overall, it was an enjoyable day for us. We will be putting up on our website all the photos taken by the photographer for the “Be Spotted” contest. It’s going to be online in the next few days and you can check to see if your photos were taken. And if you missed buying your pet’s photo printouts at the event, you will still be able to purchase them online when the photos are up!

To end off, below is an interesting series of photos we took of a wall at our booth, where photos taken from the “Be Spotted” contest were pinned up. They show the gradual filling up of empty spaces with more photos as the hours go by.
